The people at Superior Thrift weren't being cocky when they named their store. It is aptly named, and might be the best thrift store in Stockton that I've been to so far. Although it is located in what is widely considered the "dangerous" part of Stockton, the bargains are worth it. You could spend hours in Superior Thrift only to realize there's an entire section of the store you haven't explored yet.
The Good:
A wide selection of clothes for men, women and children
Most notably:
Blazers
Business-Casual wear
Vintage clothing
A variety of books for cheap
Dressing rooms
Friendly customer service
Large, clean and organized
The Bad:
Price tags are attached to existing clothing tags via staple (difficult to remove)
Tends to be very busy in the afternoon
Dressing room limits 5 items per visit (sometimes a long wait)
FAQ:
Do they take credit cards: Yes! Which means be careful not to spend all your money
Do they have a Facebook page: Yes.
Do they have a website: http://www.superiorthriftstore.net
Parking: A private lot in the back and front of the store (I recommend the back as it's easier to get in and out of)
Stay tuned for the next post to see what kind of things I scored on my trip to Superior Thrift.
