Thrift Store Review: Goodwill Stockton, CA (March Lane)

This week's thrift store up for review is the Goodwill on March Lane (because there are a lot of Goodwills out there).  As an international charity with thousands of thrift stores across the nation, Goodwill probably has a shop not far from your home.  For Stockton residents, this Goodwill is a quick jaunt from the two malls and down the street from University of the Pacific.

While not as big as Superior Thrift, this Goodwill has a sizable facility and not shortage of interesting items to buy.

The Good

Wide selection of clothes

Organized (clothes and kitchenware are organized by color)

Dressing rooms

Lots of parking

Cheap prices

The Bad

At certain times, can be very busy

Small book selection

FAQ:

Do they take credit cards: Yes

When do they accept donations:  9:00am-7:30pm

Places of interest in the area:  If you're hungry from Mexican food, try Tepa Taqueria in the same shopping center, on the left side of Hobby Lobby.

All in all, Goodwill is an essential part of the thrift store world.  It was going to this Goodwill that sparked my interest in thrift stores altogether, so I have a certain fondness for it, even if I can't find something every time.  Persistence and patience is key when shopping for second hand items.  So don't give up if you don't find exactly what you're looking for on the first try.

The next post will be something a little different, so stay tuned for new updates!
Please feel free to post in the comments about your experience with Goodwill, or any exciting things you found while shopping there.
Thank you for reading~
